Rías Baixas is Galicia's quality DO, established in 1988 and dedicated almost exclusively to the production of whites.
It now consists of 1793 hectares with more than 120 producers.
The climate is Atlantic with high rainfall and mild temperatures There are 5 authorised white varieties - foremost of which are Albariño and Loureiro - and 6 black.

Eight separate vineyard sites make up this wine. All eight are separately vinified using indigineous yeast and then are aged on the lees for a period of six months providing a full and complete flavour with depth and intensity.
The steely 2004 Albarino exhibits a straw/green colour as well as superb purity, loads of texture, and a honeyed, rich, elegant, bone dry style. In aroma is very intense with fruit notes such as lemon and apple.
