Quinta de Viluco Reserva Especial Syrah 2005
There are notes of white pepper, a hint of licorice, leather and spice along with the sweetly ripe black fruits. Tannins are present but they are as polite and fine-grained as could possibly be. A satisfying finish and a warming impression are left - this is a nicely poised effort.

Quinta de Viluco Reserva Especial Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
Deeply coloured with an inky intensity, the wine opens up with a smoky, spicy aroma and a touch of warm, ripe black cherry and cassis fruit. No shrinking violet, this is a powerful wine with an assertive presence on the palate, with a spiced blackcurrant core and a balancing, fresh and juicy acidity.
