Along with Chateau Grillet, Marqués de Griñon is one of the very few estates in the world with its own official wine region.
Along with this, it was recognised by the Spainsh State as the first official "Vino de Pago" (A new law passed in 2002 to allow the designation of single vineyard sites with special microclimates and a track record for producing exceptional wines).
They produce a fantastic range of wines that are a tribute to the investment of both time and money by Don Carlos Falcó y Fernándes de Córdova, Marqués de Griñon y Grandee de Spain, whose family and title have been associated with the Señorio de Valdepusa estate since the early 14th Century.
