The grapes for this wine are picked at the moment their flavours are at their best and to also make sure the character of the Coonawarra area is still present. Fermentation takes place in French oak barrels for a period of 7-10 days.
A deep coloured wine with purple hues. The bouquet is restrained and shows red berry fruit and sweet vanilla oak. On the palate the wine shows ripe black and red fruit and cassis, low-medium tannins and is medium to full bodied.

This wine is matured for up to two years in French hogshead and barrique style barrels to help the components of the wine to marry.
The colour is deep red and the nose shows a delicate almost perfumed character with overtones of blackberry fruit. The satiny palate shows restraint and flavours of lively blackberry and cherry fruit with soft tannins derived from the fruit and oak.
